Bio

A visual creator and storyteller by nature
Sizzle Reel for Immerse Studio: For this remote video editing job, I sorted through over an hour of clips that were recorded by the Immerse Studio team and edited (to music) the best parts into a 100-second sizzle reel showing off the amazing visual work that Immerse creates.
Sea Ice for Walrus Outlook: For this video I traveled to Nome, Alaska with my camera and sound equipment and recorded interviews with local subsistence hunters and experts on sea ice. I also took photos and videos of the SIWO meeting that was happening in Nome. I edited the interview footage with photos, video clips, and additional footage to create a short video that explains the purpose and goals of the program.
WCH Science Short Video with Sue Natali: The Arctic Research Consortium was looking to make video articles for their Witness Community Highlights online publication. I interviewed Sue Natali, Senior Scientist at the Woodwell Climate Research Center about permafrost impacts in the Arctic, and edited together a short video with photos and graphics to explain her science to a wider audience.
PolarTREC Program Retrospective: I sorted through nearly two decades worth of video clips, video interviews, and photos to organize this project into two retrospective promotional videos for the PolarTREC program (educators partnering with researchers on expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic), one longer 30-minute version and this 10-minute version. I found music to use and created the titles and graphics.
WCH Science Short Video with Evie Fachon: The first of five videos I created for ARCUS’ Witness Community Highlights online publication. For this video I traveled to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute to interview Evie Fachon about her role in studying Harmful Algal Blooms. I edited the interview along with B-roll footage of the lab and surroundings along with photos, video clips, and graphics that Evie provided.
Twisted Tree Preservation Project: Bransfield Tree Company was selected to preserve a very unique tree located at the Lincoln Library in Lincoln, Massachusetts. I conducted interviews and captured as many different shots of the tree that I could (I even rode up in the 60ft lift with my camera). I edited everything together into a short video that shows off Bransfield Tree Company’s quality work while also being fun and educational.
Interview with Jennifer Francis at the Arctic Futures 2050 Conference: A two-camera interview I recorded and edited. Jennifer Francis (Woods Hole Research Center) is interviewed by Sherri Goodman and Peter Davies (Wilson Center) at the Arctic Futures 2050 conference in Washington, DC.
